I make these a lot, even when it’s just the two of us at home. A thin baguette sliced, brushed with truffle oil and toasted. For these little morsels I topped them with freshly blanched asparagus and béarnaise, and mushroom and sun dried tomatoes. I often do a broad bean purée topping or rare roast beef with horseradish and onion jam too. So simple, so tasty.
